The Family Plan Manager Controls the Subscription
You are on a family or shared plan but cannot cancel, change billing, or find the subscription in your account. That usually means someone else is the plan organizer.

What to check
Family and shared plans have an organizer and one or more members. The organizer is the account that purchased or set up the plan. Only the organizer can cancel the subscription, change the payment method, or manage billing. Members have access to the service but no billing controls.
If you do not see a cancel or billing option in your account, you are probably a member, not the organizer. This applies across services including Microsoft 365 Family, Spotify Family, Apple Music Family, YouTube Premium Family, and others. The member account is not broken. It simply does not have permission to manage billing.
If the organizer already canceled, your access may continue until the paid period ends. This can look like the cancellation did not work, but it usually means the plan is winding down on schedule. Check with the organizer for the end date.
The charge may appear on the organizer's bank or credit card, not yours. If you see a charge you do not recognize, confirm which account is the organizer before assuming you are being billed. Family members are not always charged directly.
On Apple devices, the family organizer's Apple ID controls shared subscriptions and purchases. If you are in an Apple family sharing group and want to cancel a shared service, the organizer must do it from their Apple ID under Settings, then their name, then Subscriptions. A member's Apple ID cannot manage a subscription owned by the organizer.
On Google, the family manager controls the Google family plan. YouTube Premium Family, Google One, and other shared Google subscriptions follow this pattern. The family manager cancels through their Google account at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
If nobody in the group can find where billing is managed, the plan may be on a different platform than expected. A Spotify Family plan paid through Apple is managed in Apple subscription settings, not on spotify.com. Check the organizer's Apple, Google, or service account depending on how the plan was originally purchased.
