How to Cancel Disney Plus
Direct subscribers cancel on disneyplus.com. If billing runs through the Disney Bundle, Apple, Google, Amazon, or Roku, you cancel through them. Canceling one part of the bundle does not always stop the rest.
Cancel online
Go to disneyplus.com, open Account, select your subscription, and choose Cancel. You will see a retention offer before the cancellation confirms. Decline it to reach the confirmation screen with your final access date.
Read this before you cancel
If you signed up through Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, or a cable or internet provider, canceling on disneyplus.com will not stop your charge. Check your credit card or bank statement to find who bills you, and cancel through that company. The Disney Bundle complicates this further. Canceling Disney Plus alone does not cancel the bundle, and canceling the bundle does not always stop each service if any piece has its own billing cycle. Check exactly what you are subscribed to before canceling anything.

After you cancel
You keep watching until the end of the billing period you already paid for. Downloads stop working once access ends. If you were on the Disney Bundle, Hulu and ESPN Plus may continue on their own billing cycle. Profiles, watchlist, and history stay saved if you resubscribe.
What to save as proof
If billing continues, these make the dispute faster.
- 1Screenshot of the confirmation screen showing your final access date
- 2Confirmation email from Disney Plus or the billing provider
- 3If billed through a third party, screenshot of that platform showing the cancellation
- 4If on the Disney Bundle, screenshot showing which components are still active
What goes wrong
- Canceled on disneyplus.com but charges continued because billing ran through Apple, Google, Amazon, or a provider
- Canceled Disney Plus expecting the full bundle to stop, but Hulu and ESPN Plus kept billing
- Canceled the bundle but Disney Plus continued because it had its own separate billing cycle
- Accepted a retention discount without realizing it restarted the subscription
- Deleted the app and assumed the subscription stopped. It lives in account settings, not the app.
