How to Cancel Peacock
Peacock billing runs through several different partners depending on how you signed up. If you subscribed through a cable or internet provider like Comcast or Xfinity, canceling on peacocktv.com will not stop the charge.
Cancel online
Go to peacocktv.com, sign in, open Account, and select Cancel Plan under your subscription details. The cancellation screen shows your final access date before you confirm. If you do not see a cancel option, your billing is handled by a provider and you need to cancel through them instead.
Read this before you cancel
Peacock has one of the widest billing partner spreads in streaming. If you signed up through Comcast, Xfinity, Cox, Spectrum, Apple, Google Play, Amazon, or Roku, canceling on peacocktv.com will not stop billing. Comcast and Xfinity customers are the most common case because Peacock is included in many internet and cable packages, sometimes at no visible extra charge. If your Peacock access came through a provider bundle, you may not have a standalone Peacock subscription at all. Check your credit card or bank statement to see who charges you. If it does not say Peacock or NBCUniversal, cancel through whatever company name appears.

After you cancel
You keep watching until the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that, your account drops to the free tier with limited content and ads. Downloaded content stops working once paid access ends. Your account, watch history, and profile stay on file if you resubscribe later.
What to save as proof
If billing continues, these make the dispute faster.
- 1Screenshot of the Account page showing canceled status and the final access date
- 2Confirmation email from Peacock or the billing provider with the end date
- 3If billed through a provider, screenshot of that provider's account showing the subscription is canceled
- 4Bank or credit card statement showing who charges you, in case billing continues
What goes wrong
- Had Peacock included with a Comcast or Xfinity package and tried to cancel on peacocktv.com. The subscription is managed by the provider, not by Peacock directly.
- Canceled on peacocktv.com but charges continued because billing ran through Apple, Google, Amazon, or Roku
- Removed payment details from the Peacock account and assumed the subscription stopped. Payment removal does not cancel the subscription.
- Deleted the Peacock app and assumed billing would stop. The subscription lives in your account settings or your provider's billing, not in the app.
- Canceled the paid plan but did not realize the account drops to a free tier instead of fully closing. Access to free content continues, which can look like the cancellation did not work.
