Alternatives to Netflix
People leaving Netflix are usually looking for a different content library, a lower price, or both. These are the major streaming services worth considering as replacements.

Options worth considering
Hulu
Stronger for current-season TV than Netflix, with next-day episodes from major networks. The ad-supported tier costs less than any Netflix plan. Weaker on original films and has a smaller international content library.
Max
Closest to Netflix for prestige drama and original series. Includes the full HBO catalog and a deep film library. Costs more than most competitors and has fewer family-friendly options.
Disney Plus
Strong for family content, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. Much smaller adult drama catalog than Netflix. Almost no current-season TV. Works well as a second service but rarely replaces Netflix on its own.
Amazon Prime Video
Large catalog included with a Prime membership most people already pay for. Some strong originals, but the interface makes it hard to tell what is included versus what costs extra. Content quality is less consistent than Netflix.
Apple TV Plus
Smallest library of any major service, but high production quality across the board. No back catalog of licensed shows or movies. Costs less than Netflix and often comes free with Apple device purchases.
